chinese tea leaf eggs

Chinese tea leaf eggs

My friends and I are going to open a small stall during our entrepreneur week. When all of discussing what to sell, my Chinese buddies suggest me herbal eggs. They say it is very easy to make and we can gain high profit by selling it. I got saw people selling these herbal eggs in night markets before this but i never had tried one before this because of it's dark color. I love eggs a lot especially boiled eggs. When they told more about these eggs , i feel wanna try it.

These tea leaf eggs are Chinese's favourite traditional street snack. It is also known as marble egg because cracks in the egg shell created a marble-like patterns.Although it is originated from China, it is commonly served in Asian restaurants.

These eggs are really easy to make..now let me tell you how to prepare these eggs...

STEP 1: Prepare the ingredients

  • eggs ( you should put only one layer of eggs in the saucepan
  • 2 black tea leaf bags
  • 2 star anise
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 3 cloves
  • 1 tsp five spice powder
  • 1 tsb sugar
  • 4 tsb soy sauce
  • water

STEP 2: Preparation of eggs
Boil the eggs for 2 minutes in the saucepan and then cover it for sometime (approximately about 6 minutes).
Let the shells get hard. After that slightly tap on eggs shells gently using back of spoon. This will allow the herbs to seep thorough the eggs.

STEP 3: Preparation of herbal eggs.
Put the eggs in a slow cooker, then put all the ingredients into it. start boiling it. After boiled, simmer it down for two hours. The flavour and color will be very good if you marinate it overnight.( The more hour you let it be, the more tastier it will be).

STEP 4: Serving
After that crack the eggs shells.you can get a beautiful marble shape. Then serve it to your family or friends.(you can also serve it with broth).

SHARING

I'm Sharing What I'm Learning Everyday
                          REMEMBER:
The more you share the more you gain

think out of the box

APPROACH PROBLEMS IN NEW AND INNOVATIVE WAY

Here are some ways to bring out your out-of-the box thinking skills.

1. Visualize and draw your problems.

Take a white paper and start drawing your problems in any way you wanted. it is not necessary for your drawing to look beautiful and full of colors. Try to include all the people and things that are related to your problem. When you do like this, indirectly this will boost creative thinking.
after you drew your picture, try not to see it in the same angel. What i meant here is turn it upside down or flipped it. This may give you some suggestions. It will also break your left brains logical way of approaching problems.

2. Read something daily.

Knowledge will help you see the problems in new way and lead you to different path.
Try reading something that you never read before this. If you like romantic novels, try reading mystery novels. If you love to read crime stories, try read fantasy stories. These stories will stimulate your mentality. When you are reading try to visualize the story and connect it with your daily life problems. Learn how the author deal with solve these problems.

Apart from novels, try reading something that is not your field of study. All industries almost face similar problems but the way they deal with the problems are quite different. Try read their problems and ways to solve it, then try to make connections with your own problems.

3. Try asking a child for advice

You may wonder, why should ask a child for a solution. All we all know, a child's world is full of creativity and imagination. Their mind is always fresh even they active for the all day. When you give a paper to child they will not just draw on the paper and leave it. First they will draw then they will make anything out if it such paper ball. They can think in a different way. So try asking for a solution from a child. they may give you a hint to solve the problems.  At the same time, don't make a step just because a child told you so.

4. Try taking shower

This idea is a kinda weird but it always works for me. As far as i know it work to a lot of people. I don't the exact reason why it can boost our thinking but what matters is it works.
I think it maybe because of the cold water that can chill you out. Most of the time i get new idea after i take my shower.

***COLOURS***

Our life is full of colours…if there is a life without colours it is called black and white...however we should know that black and white are also colours..

So let us learn something about colours..
Primary colours are colours that cannot be created by mixing any other colours.
When I was young, my teacher taught me that primary colours are red, blue and yellow..but now due to popular belief, there are actually two types of primary colours.
We can produce other colours based on these primary colours. Two basic methods used are additive primary colours and subtractive primary colours. Rainbow of colours are produced based on these two processes.
What are additive primary colours?
  • Colours that are associated with emitted light directly from a source before an object reflects the light.
  • Red, Green, Blue
What are subtractive primary colours?
  • Colours that are associated with reflected light
  • Red, Blue, Yellow

If all three of the additive colours were combined together in the form of light, they would produce white.
If all three of the subtractive primary colours were combined together, they would produce black.
